Louise is our Chief Operating Officer and Clinical Nurse Specialist, working closely with our CEO Julie to ensure our clinic operates smoothly and effectively. With a background as a Clinical Nurse Manager, she adeptly handles everything from HR and business management to tech and quality improvement projects with a hands-on, dynamic approach. In addition to her executive role, Louise continues to practice as a primary care nurse, reflecting her deep commitment to patient care. Her nursing journey began with her specialties in NICU and Ortho, and she’s even explored the exciting world of travel medicine! Raised in Richmond, Louise has a rich history of volunteering and working jobs interacting with people of all ages and backgrounds. This diverse experience fuels her dedication to intersectionality, cultural safety, authentic leadership, relationality, and patient-centred care. Louise is passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture, values meaningful engagement in the workplace, excels at problem-solving, and loves learning. Her enthusiasm for knowledge sharing helps create a collaborative environment where the fluidity of information and feedback are highly encouraged.
