Benjamin Zhao

Benjamin is a Family Nurse Practitioner who completed his degree at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Benjamin completed his Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at Simon Fraser University (SFU). He then obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at BCIT. Additionally, he obtained an Advanced Nursing Specialty in Acute Care and Critical Care where he worked in various healthcare settings, including the Burns Trauma Unit and the ICU at Vancouver General Hospital.

Benjamin maintains a strong attachment to his community, and he aspires to create meaningful connections to leave a positive impact on the lives of those around him. Dedicated to helping people thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally, he provides evidence-based primary care practice for newborns, pediatrics, younger adults, older adults, and families.

Benjamin can also speak Cantonese and some basic Mandarin. Outside the clinic, he enjoys biking and playing tennis throughout the year.
